Clarity. Insight. Confidence
Most schools are not behind on AI. They are simply unsupported. Staff are curious but cautious. Leaders are aware of the risks but unclear on what good practice actually looks like.
That gap between where schools are and where they need to be is closable. But it does not close on its own.
Verita AI UK works exclusively with schools and multi-academy trusts in England. We do not sell software. We do not add to your licence budget. We build the governance frameworks, the policy infrastructure, and the staff confidence that turn AI from an unmanaged risk into a genuine professional asset.
The schools getting the most from AI right now are not the ones with the most expensive tools. They are the ones with the clearest frameworks and the most confident staff.
Why governance matters more than tools
The tools your staff need are already free
Oak National Academy's Aila is free, publicly funded, and named by the government in its flagship education white paper as a delivery mechanism for AI in teaching and learning. Microsoft Copilot Chat is included in the M365 licenses most schools already hold. Within a properly governed framework, these tools and others freely available, meet most of what staff need day to day.
The money your school does not spend on unnecessary AI licences stays where it belongs: in your classrooms.
What governance means for Ofsted
Ofsted does not inspect AI tools in isolation. Inspectors look at governance: whether AI use is safe, consistent and properly overseen. A school with a documented framework is in a fundamentally different inspection position from one without.
Safeguarding is now a binary judgement under the new Ofsted framework: met or not met. An AI-related safeguarding incident in a school with no policy and no documented approach is a safeguarding not met risk. The framework is what protects your school. Not the tools.
How Verita AI UK Works With You
Schools and trusts do not need to commit to everything at once. Each phase builds on the last, from initial clarity to embedded, confident practice. Everything is built around free tools your staff already have access to. No new software. No new licenses.
Phase 1
AI Readiness, Strategy and Foundation Framework
- Phase 1 gives your school or trust a complete, documented AI governance foundation — grounded in DfE guidance, specific to your context, defensible to Ofsted, ready to implement.
- Every school audited against its own Ofsted history
- Every governance gap closed: policy suite, oversight framework, malpractice procedure
- A clear picture of where you stand, with a personalised Phase 2 plan and full costs before any further decision
Phase 2
Staff Development and Policy Implementation
- Phase 2 turns your governance framework into consistent, embedded practice, the same understanding, in every classroom, for every member of staff.
- Practical hands-on training for teaching staff, support staff and leadership
- Built around your own policy, not generic AI training
- Every participant leaves knowing what is approved, how to use it safely, and what to do if something goes wrong
Phase 3
Embedding and Ongoing Assurance
- Phase 3 ensures your framework stays current, your staff stay supported, and your school is never caught out by changes in the AI landscape.
- A named Verita AI UK adviser your school can rely on
- New starter induction and staff refresher training included
- Regular AI intelligence updates written for the role receiving them
Phase 1 - Can be completed in as little as four weeks
Phase 2 - Typically delivered across one school half term
Phase 3 - Retained support begins on completion of Phase 2
A note on cost.
Verita AI UK does not add to your licence budget. The tools that make the biggest practical difference to most teachers are already available at no cost. Where a paid tool offers a genuine and specific advantage, we will tell you clearly what that is and why. Where it does not, we will tell you that too.
No school should commit significant budget to AI licences before answering that question honestly. Verita AI UK is the only voice in that conversation with no commercial interest in the answer.
The money your school does not spend on unnecessary AI licences stays where it belongs. It funds teaching assistants, enrichment activities, SEND support, and the resources that directly shape the lives of your pupils.
Pricing is tailored to your school or trust and discussed as part of an initial conversation. There is no obligation and no sales process. Get in touch to find out what Phase 1 would cost for your context.
About Amanda Cooper
Amanda Cooper is not a technology consultant who learned about education. She is an education professional who has spent her career building the kind of organisations that training, consistency and great teaching actually create.
Fourteen years leading teams, navigating Ofsted inspections to Outstanding, and delivering large-scale technology transitions to tens of thousands of learners gave her one thing that no amount of theoretical knowledge can replicate, a precise, first-hand understanding of what it actually takes to change how people teach, learn and work. At scale, under scrutiny, and in a way that lasts.
Verita AI UK was founded on a single, clear observation: most schools are not behind on AI. They are simply unsupported. That is the problem this business exists to solve.
